BB8 Feeds: Nick and Joe, kinda gay

Ok only one more clip today, I am loving this show!

My Day Off

Monday's are my usual day off. I tend to work 6 days to keep busy and make extra money for life's extras. I have three vacations coming up and I want to be able to enjoy them without worrying to much about money. Though that is in my nature to be cheap and want the most out of my money. I was a jew born into a protestant's body *sigh*. Today I slept in and did a little shopping at Target/Publix, the same Monday routine. I found a cute lamp for 15 dollars that was originally 60.00 so I had to buy it. I cannot wait till the new Target opens, it will be five minutes away yay!

Tomorrow I go back to work and I am starting to dread work lately, I have just been very bored. I think it is time for a new one but nothing that interests me had come up lately in the JOBS posting. My birthday is coming up on 8/2 and I will be turning 26 *sigh* how the time has flown, I need to figure out what the next step in my life will be.

BB8 Horny Joe and a pumpkin!

This is what happens when guys get together that are horny. Doesn't matter if you are gay or straight.

L.A. Archdiocese to Pay $660M Over Abuse

So where is this money coming from? It either coming from the Archdiocese insurance policies or from the pockets of the members of the Catholic faith. It is a sick circle of money. You would think they should address these issues instead of paying them off.

Hundreds of people who claim they were abused by clergy affiliated with the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Los Angeles can expect to be paid more than $1 million each in a $660 million settlement of their lawsuits.
The deal, by far the largest settlement in the church's sexual abuse scandal, was reached Saturday.(source)

My college town is going gay ;)

AKRON, Ohio -- Akron wants to encourage gay travelers to spend time and money in the area.
The local convention and visitors bureau plans to meet next week with gay-owned and gay-friendly businesses to talk about incentives and promotions for luring gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender visitors.
It's a market that spends about $55 billion a year on travel, according to the Travel Industry Association of America.
The chairman of the Akron-Area Pride Collective said there are plenty of reasons why gays would want to visit the community, including West Akron's historic Highland Square neighborhood.

55 dollar bottles of water!!

The next wave in fancy water comes in a frosted bottle sparkling with Swarovski crystals, goes for $50 to $90 a pop and is called Bling H2O.
Could have fooled me. In fact it did: I couldn't tell it apart from a $1 bottle of Poland Spring.
Bling H2O, the brainchild of Hollywood writer-producer Kevin Boyd, is a big splash on the West Coast. Now it has reached high-end Westchester watering hole Via Genova in Chappaqua, home of the Clintons.
The ritzy refreshment is bottled at a Tennessee spring and purified in a nine-step process that includes ozone, ultraviolet treatment and micro-filtration.

I love a good bitch!

I wanted to see this but of course I missed out....

I have always been a fan of Dynasty, this is an inteview Joan Collins gave the Daily Mail in England about her experience with Linda Evans on a play they did a few years ago. Here are a view quotes from the interview. For the complete interview click here

Their vicious onscreen catfights helped turn Dynasty into a 1980s TV hit.
Then, last year, Joan Collins, 74, and Linda Evans, 64, reunited to play a pair of feuding former Hollywood stars in a touring play. Now, in an extraordinary one-off extract from her personal diary, Joan reveals the truth about the worst theatrical experience of her life.

You could leave the theatre and have a three-course dinner during the pauses that Linda leaves between her lines.
This shit is getting better and better.

She's always talking about "motivation" and the "objective of the scene" - as if she's Dame Edith Evans and the play is Tolstoy. Tonight, she tries to upstage me by mugging (making faces) during my big speech! Unbelievable.

Good things come in 3s

Bush picks another winner!

President Bush's nominee for surgeon general insisted Thursday that he
harbors no bias against homosexuals in spite of his 1991 writings viewed by some
as anti-gay.
Dr. James Holsinger faced tough questioning at his Senate
confirmation hearing over his views on homosexuality and how he would react if
he were pressured to put politics ahead of science in his role as the nation's
doctor.
"I would resign," Holsinger said emphatically.
Concerns about his
independence were spurred by former Surgeon General Richard Carmona's testimony
two days earlier that the Bush administration muzzled him on issues such as
abstinence education and stem-cell research because of politics.
A vote on
the nomination of Holsinger, a Kentucky doctor, wasn't expected for several
weeks.
At Thursday's hearing, he distanced himself from a paper he wrote 16
years ago that has been attacked by gay rights organizations and public health
experts as inaccurate and inflammatory. The paper cited data showing elevated
rates of disease among gay men, but some medical experts say he completely
ignored other data that would contradict the paper's point that homosexuality is
an abnormal function.
Sen. Edward M. Kennedy, chairman of the Senate Health,
Education, Labor and Pensions Committee, asked Holsinger on several occasions to
address various aspects of his paper on homosexuality for a study committee of
the United Methodist Church.
"Dr. Holsinger's paper cherry picks and misuses
data to support his thesis that homosexuality is unhealthy and unnatural,"
Kennedy, D-Mass., said.
Holsinger said it was not intended to be a scientific
paper and that he relied on the information available to him at the
time.
"First of all, the paper does not represent where I am today. It does
not represent who I am today," Holsinger said.

Lance as Corny Collins!

Lance Bass is set to make his Broadway debut as dance-show host Corny Collins in Hairspray on August 14. He will remain with the musical through January 6, 2008.

"God created Adam + Eve, not Adam + Steve."

MIAMI BEACH, Fla. -- Driving down Alton Road, one might notice a large banner in front of a home that some have called homophobic and offensive. It reads: "God created Adam + Eve, not Adam + Steve." The occupant of that house raised it as part of his campaign to become the next mayor of Miami Beach, a city that has a large population of gay and lesbian residents.
"I promise you, when I become mayor, we're going to clean up all this funny business going on down there," mayoral candidate Bill Smatt said about the large presence of gay and lesbians who find South Beach a welcoming place to live, work and party.
Smatt wishes they didn't, and the sign in front of his house confirms it.

"I don't think it should be up there because it offends a certain part of our community and I really think that it should be taken down," neighbor Rosie Menendez said. "It's not right."
The 76-year-old native of Jamaica sees himself as a moral crusader.
"I am bringing back Miami Beach for the families," he said.

Smatt's campaign controversy comes during gay and lesbian pride month. To honor the occasion, city hall has an art exhibition on display, including an autographed photograph that reads, "Love you, Tiffany Hilton."
"Miami Beach is communism," Smatt said.
When pressed as to whether he meant Miami Beach is a communist city, he replied, "Sure it is."
A spokesman for Save Dade said Smatt is not representative of Miami Beach residents and that his views are "bigoted and despicable." Smatt said he is merely willing to say publicly what others say or think privately.(source)

Pizzeria Offers Lap Dances

On the outside, Cordatos looks like your ordinary pizzeria, but inside customers are offered something way too hot and spicy to be found on the menu.

Lap dances. Yes, you read that correctly!

A walk through the restaurant past the pizza ovens, leads to a heavy soundproof door, where inside the back room $10 buys you a few moments of lap dancing by barely dressed exotic dancers.

Kwik-E-Mart

As part of a promo campaign for the new Simpson's Movie, 7-Eleven has transformed twelve of their stores nationwide into Kwik-E-Marts. We've been lucky to have one of those sprout up over the weekend right here in Orlando.

Those stores and most of the 6,000-plus other 7-Elevens in North America will sell items that until now existed only on television: Buzz Cola, KrustyO's cereal and Squishees, the slushy drink knockoff of Slurpees

Racism or Not?

Recently there has been a crackdown on loitering by teens at Disney's Downtown Entertainment complex, this is basically a shopping/dining district. You mostly see this stuff at the movie theaters where teens seem to hang out. Because of concerns about a rise in ganglike activity at Downtown Disney lately, loitering or "any other inappropriate behavior" by groups of youths . They have been beefing up security and enforcing the loitering rule. Well recently they rounded up 45 teens and 4 happen to be future FSU football recruits and their parents and our lovely and the Orlando Sentinel, nicknamed the Slantinel by our community has decided to blow it out of proportion. And pulling the race card bye claiming that security was racially profiling guests! In the initial article by the Sentinel they forgot to mention the details. It was 11:30pm at night and all stores and restaurants were closed, the only that was open was the movie theater and Pleasure Island which is 21 and up. They refused to leave or go to the movie theater. So the Orange County police had to intervene and charge them with trespassing. Oy vey this has sparked not stop front cover stories with the Sentinel. They also keep mentioning about how they are star football players, how does that make them better than anyone else?
