This Sunday, on 60 Minutes, Lesley Stahl will look into the U.S. military's "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy, offering evidence in the form of Army Sgt. Darren Manzella that the armed forces look the other way during wartime, refusing to discharge troops even in the face of "graphic proof" that they are gay.

Despite the fact it is 2007, same-sex couples on broadcast television are so unusual as to still be considered a Very Big Deal. But a gay male teen couple on a daytime soap? That constitutes an actual milestone in gay visibility.
Earlier this year, CBS’ As the World Turns made that breakthrough when Luke Snyder (Van Hansis) fell hard for newcomer Noah Mayer (Jake Silbermann). And viewers fell just as hard for the couple quickly naming them Nuke as their growing popularity helped to push the show’s ratings up. In fact, Nuke became so popular that a recent poll named them the most popular couple on ATWT and one of the seven hottest couples on all of daytime television.

Eric Winter has been cast as Sen. McCallister's (Rob Lowe) gay brother on the hit ABC show Brothers & Sisters. Yay for another gay on the show, this should add some more drama hehe.

Pissed and in Pain!!!

I have not been feeling well, I have a chronic kidney stone issues and was in the ER on Thursday. I actually did pass a stone after I came home from the hospital. It is now Saturday and I am still not feeling well and having kidney pains once again! I really hope I do not end up in the ER again :( Maybe more on that later. ...maybe

I am also depressed because I thought I was going to buy a new LCD tv for my room. I went ahead and paid 1200 dollars on my best buy account, not know they do not release your credit limit for 12 days after you pay. It sucks ass because today is the last day of 36 months no interest. Now Granted I paid 1400 dollars off in 6 months I like that safety net, and they had some great prices today at Best Buy since the Super Bowl is tomorrow. If I had known all of this I would have just spent the cash without paying off my whole best buy credit card bill. GRRRRRRRRRRRr I am so frustrating and in pain right now.
