My Vacation

Ok so it was not much of a vacation, but it was great to see my best friend from Ohio. It had been almost three years since I had seen him last, even though we talk daily on AIM. It was also nice to be off work for 5 days. Last Wednesday I got off work early and picked Tim up at the Airport, after driving through rush hour traffic to get home, we picked my roommate up and headed downtown to eat at Wildfire BBQ. We enjoyed dinner there and then headed to Bloomingdales so I could get some of my Zirh Shaving Cream. Then we decided to get some ice cream, well I have not had real sugar in months so I was a little bit excited!!! We went to Carvels and I had a blizzard like treat that had cake batter in it, yumo! I thought I was going to be sick with all of that sugar.

The next day we got up and hit the themeparks, first Animal Kingdom and rode Everest then headed over to Epcot and hit most of the attractions there. Then Timmy and I headed home and had dinner then Tim, Marcus, and I headed out to Pleasure Island to Celebrate his Birthday, of course I went to Dawn's bar and chatted it up with her and introduced her to Tim and she made him some strong drinks as always hehehe. I honestly don't remember a lot except having a lot of fun after having three long islands, and 2 shots lol!!!

On Friday we went to the beach and relaxed, then enjoyed a wonderful dinner at the Yachtsmen Steakhouse. I think Tim really enjoyed, I had them personalize the menu with his Name and wishing him a Happy Birthday and then had a cake at the end.

Saturday we got out of bed and headed to Universal, we hit both parks but I must say most of the waits were over 70 minutes so we hit the single rider lines which seperated us! Then for our last dinner together we ate at Hard Rock.

Overall it was very nice weekend and I enjoyed my time is Tim, hopefully he will come down sooner and we can go on a cruise.

Brady Quinn

Brady another fellow Ohioan, he is from Dublin right outside of Columbus. Is taking part of the NFL draft and hopefully will get with his choice of the Cleveland Browns. The Browns traded up to get Brady Quinn. This was a childhood dream for this studmuffin!

On Vacation in my own City!

I have been on vacation in my own city or Orlando. My friend Tim came down from Ohio and I have been doing all the "tourist" things with him. I just dropped him off at airport and I am ready to relax! Yesterday we did both Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure then ate dinner at the Hard Rock. It was an interesting visit and when he gets home today he promised to send me some pictures. I will go through them and write a short trip report. Luckily he did not get a picture of me with my pants down at Pleasure Island. :-X

Harry is coming to Broadway!

Harry Potter is coming to Broadway.
It was announced April 20 that the hit London revival of Equus — starring "Harry Potter" actor Daniel Radcliffe — which will play its final performance at London's Gielgud Theatre June 9, will be heading for Broadway in spring 2008, followed by an Australian production. Casting and dates for the New York run have yet to be announced, but London's Daily Mail reports that both Radcliffe and the big boy of English theatre, History Boys Tony-winner Richard Griffiths, have signed on.

Tired!

I have been very busy at work, I am working 10 days in a row so I can take a 4 days weekend and use only 16 hours of benefit time. I am greedy when it comes to my vacation time even thought I have 150 hours of vacation time :) I hope everyone had a great week! 5 more days till my best friend Timmy from Ohio comes to visit me :) Can you tell I am excited?? :P

I am exhausted and have to get up at 6am :(

My girl Blanche Devereaux err I mean Rue McClanahan has just published her autobiography! I must have it!

Here is a short interview she did for USAtoday

1: Why write a memoir?
I just wanted to tell my story, and if I can, save some women from the mistakes I made in picking mates. (She has been happily married for almost 10 years to husband No. 6, Morrow Wilson.)

2: In the book, you rate the sexual performance of your former husbands and lovers with your Fun in Bed Quotient.
I just thought it was amusing and funny. Some men have a talent.

3: What were your favorite roles?
"Faye Precious in Who's Happy Now?, off-Broadway and for PBS. It was a joy not to be surpassed. Also, Vivian on Maude, Cherie in Bus Stop and, of course, Blanche on Golden Girls."

4: Does it bother you that some people think you and Blanche are the same person?
"People who think that can't possibly know me. I'm not much like Blanche. She just slept around. I never did that. I always had one man and had them one at a time."

5: What's next for you?
"I'm doing six one-hour episodes of a new comedy show called Ryan's Life for the Here! TV network. I play an Auntie Mame-like flamboyant, free-wheeling grandmother whose teenage grandson is questioning his sexuality."

Underwear Shopping

Today I am off from work so I went to the gym and workout, yeah have not done that in months. I have been feeling very depressed so that really helped pump up my hormones. After that I went to the mailbox and there was a new Undergear catalog in there hehe. Yay! I want some new underwear! I have always been a boxer brief guy but I think I want to try some briefs.

Oy vey I finally got a new duvet. What a mess that was, I first bough the Platinum color and it did not look good and my room and I found a huge stain on it. Returned it and got the chocolate brown, it looks HOT in my rooms. I am very please and very poor now.

Tonight I bought a new bed, I spent more than I was intending too but I still feel that I got a good deal. I now and the proud owner of a KING size Simmons BeautyRest Pillow Top bed. It is going to be delivered tomorrow! whoop whoop.
