Bet on It -Zac Efron

Everybody's always talking at me
Everybody's trying to get in my head
I wanna listen to my own heart talking
I need to count on myself instead

I'm not gonna stop, that's who I am
I'll give it all I got, that is my plan
Will I find what I lost?
You know you can
Bet on it, bet on it(Bet on me)
I wanna make it right, that is the way
To turn my life around, today is the day
Am I the type of guy who means what I say?
Bet on it, bet on itBet on it, bet on it
How will I know if there's a path worth taking?
Should I question every move I make?
With all I’ve lost my heart is breaking
I don't wanna make the same mistake

Birthday Weekend...

On Thursday I had my 26th Birthday. I first picked up my friend Kevin from the Airport then we went back to my house and got ready. Then my roommate, Kevin, and I headed to Downtown Disney and has some great sushi and a flatbread at Wolfgang Pucks. Then we headed over to 8trax and Mannequins to dance the night away. I was so tired from working earlier in the day and trying to get the house ready for our house guest oh and maybe the alcohol too? That I really don't remember much.

Friday morning we got up late and headed down to Ft Lauderdale. The drive was long due to weather and traffic in West Palm Beach. We checked into the Sheraton which I was very nervous because the hotel is over 50 years old and I have heard is a real dump lol. Well the check in took a few minutes because the guest service associate had to go "check the room" to make sure it was ready. It was 6:30pm so I thought that was strange. We head up to the 5th floor and went to the end of the hall way. To my surprise we had been upgraded to a one bedroom suite. After we got settled in we went for a walk on the beach then came back showered and headed out for dinner. We dined at a great greek restaurant called Opa. It was Insane!!! They danced on the table, threw napkins in the air, it was a total experience.

After a wonderful dinner we headed over to the Boardwalk Club. They had about 20 strippers there, it was quite an experience. And it made me feel young ;) !!! Though most of the strippers I did not find attractive at all, there was a Zac Efron look a like that we followed around the place until he disappeared. So then we headed over to the Coliseum waited in line to get in. We got lucky and they had free drinks from 12-2am so we headed right to the bar. And then the Zac Efron look a like appeared again to our pure delight! We had a great time then headed back to the hotel.

Saturday we got up and checked out at noon and headed over to Wilton Manors (Ft Lauderdale Gay Ghetto) where we dined at Rosies, formerly a Hamburger Mary's. Then over to the gayest shopping center I have ever seen, they had a spa, gay gym, gay sports bar, humpy's pizzeria, bottoms and tops clothing store, gay gift store, Gaymart, Java Boys, Boom room, and more but cannot remember all of the names!!! Then we headed on home and had a wonderful dinner in Downtown Orlando. Then more drinks at the Parliment House.

Sunday we got up and went to Epcot, and basically drank and ate around the world.

Monday I finally dropped Kevin off at the airport and went grocery shopping and now I am just relaxing. I don't want to go back to work *whines*

More Zac mmmm....

I just got done with my birthday vacation weekend, will post more about that in a bit....

Nice day off!

Today Marcus and I headed to the mall which is always a bad idea because we love to shop. But it turned out pretty good, I found a Polo for 30 dollars originally 75.00. Also finally got king size pillows for my new bed, the regular pillows looked pathetic on my bed. Then we just walked around and did some window shopping, found a few things at bath and body works. After that we went to Olive Garden for some salad and breadsticks, I also had the chicken alfredo with whole wheat pasta. We were both quite sastified after that and headed to Marshalls to look for sheets for my bed, last week I bought grey sheets at Target and Marcus threw the packaging away before I got to try them out on my bed, I am stilled pissed because they are to ruff for my skin. Did not find any sheets that felt good to me. Now we are back home and relaxing.

Strange Mood...

I don't believe
In the smile that you leave
When you walk away
And say goodbye
Well I don't expect
The world to move underneath me
But for God's sake
Could you try?

Next Stop: Walt Disney 42nd St.

Renting subway trains and stations to corporations such as Disney could raise tens of millions of dollars a year and stave off an upcoming fare hike, a board member of the Metropolitan Transportation Authority said yesterday. The MTA announced yesterday that it would seek to bring in an additional $325 million a year through increased subway and bus fares and bridge and tunnel tolls beginning in 2008 to help close a projected budget gap of $1.8 billion in 2010. Rather than raise subway fares, "I would rather try to sell 42nd Street's subway system underground to Disney for $60 million a year and have them paint it any way that they want to paint it," Mr. Seabrook, president of the city's Correction Officers' Benevolent Association, said at yesterday's board meeting. Trains could be painted with "Lion King" murals or decorated with Yankees insignia for the World Series and bring in tens of millions of dollars a year, he told The New York Sun. A spokesman for the agency declined to comment on Mr. Seabrook's proposal. (source/full story)

Tammy Faye Messner dies

I just got home from dinner to read this, I just watched the tape interview of her on Larry King on Thursday. She looked horrible but still had great spirits. She had requested the interview from Larry King, almost like she knew her time was coming soon. Her son was also on the show and noted that she had outlived all the doctors predictions! Tammy was trully a great women who cared for everyone, whatever walk a life they came from.

My mother is here this weekend in Orlando and was talking to me about my aunt who is recovering from cancer and was also diagnosed with Parkinson disease. In the past month she has had problems swallowing and is losing weight fast. This makes me nervous that possible the cancer has spread to her throat or she has a tumor. Uggh this is not a fun world we live in.
